All first-year students in the biological sciences are required to attend an advising workshop to prepare for registration and become familiar with graduation requirements. An advising hold is placed on your account, and you will be unable to register for spring 2020 classes. This hold is removed when you have attended a workshop.
The Biology Freshman Year Workshop power point has been posted on Husky CT.
If you attended a workshop already, you are all set! This presentation is just for your review. You don’t have a hold on your account. If you have a hold, please check to see which other office placed the hold.
If you did not attend a workshop (and have not yet met with your advisor) you will need to schedule an appointment with your assigned advisor through NEXUS (https://nexus.uconn.edu/) and review the power point prior to coming in for you appointment. We will NOT remove your hold without a meeting and please do not come to drop-in hours.
To find your assigned advisor, please look in the advisor box on your Student Admin account.
If you have met with your Biology advisor for registration advising, please email your advisor once you have reviewed the Workshop presentation. When we have confirmed you have reviewed the power point, we will remove your hold.
